I love acronyms maybe more than anyone. (My new company is called TeeBeeDee for a reason.) But why do companies persist in publishing 800 numbers that only display the spelling (800-NYTIMES is my complain this morning)? Don't they know that many of their customers are using smart phones where the numbers don't correspond to the old letters? Would 800-698-4637 be so difficult to display alongside the acronym?

I don't know, Robin, but I find it highly annoying that your TeeDeeBee not only won't accept what I was sure is my password, but it also has no password-reset feature.
Apparently, despite your venture capital millions, you rely on volunteers to keep track of such things, and users must send an e-mail and wait. Then, in my case, anyway, they receive an e-mail from some flustered volunteer that is completely unhelpful.
Consequently, I keep getting e-mail from TeeDeeBee members (mostly unwanted solicitations from men) to which I cannot respond and which I cannot stop. This is annoying and says little for TeeDeeBee's credibility.
